Iyengar Yoga Intensive with Jennifer Beaumont

  • Iyengar Yoga Center of Grand Rapids 327 Division Avenue South Grand Rapids, MI, 49503 United States (map)

Studying the art & science of Iyengar yoga deeply allows for learning and practicing intricacies of skillful action, deepening to transformative experience and exploration of new horizons within.

Through the practice of intricacies of skillful action (some call this the "alignment" of the postures in our method, but its also the old meaning of word "yoga" from the Bhagavad Gita), learned through regular, consistent study with deeply experienced teachers, we learn to take care of all our problems through the practice of yoga.   We gain skills and tools for learning about our selves, from the physical outer layers through energetic, emotional, and intellectual aspects, toward the core of our deepest being. The practice is where we apply what we've learned, and realize yoga or "equanimity" in all states and conditions through persistent effort over a long period of time.

The goal is near for those who are supremely vigorous and intense in practice.
