The Iyengar Yoga Center of Grand Rapids was established in 2014 as a center dedicated to the practice and study of the art, philosophy & science of classical yoga taught in the lineage of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar. 

As West & Central Michigan's only dedicated Iyengar Yoga Center, only Certified Iyengar Yoga teachers teach here, those assisting class may be in training for Iyengar Yoga Certification. 

The Iyengar Yoga Center of Grand Rapids is conveniently located on the Avenue of the Arts, in the Heartside neighborhood, in a corner storefront at 327 Division Ave. S at the corner of Goodrich Street SW, just north of the 131 S. Wealthy Street exit.  

Hours:

The Yoga Center is open 30 minutes before class and for at least 15 minutes after class times.  Jennifer is available to answer practice questions before and after class for enrolled students. 

Parking & Public Transportation:  

There is free parking on Goodrich Ave. SW., or metered parking on Division Ave in front of the Yoga Center (free after 5pm on weekdays and free all weekend). Bikes may be parked in the rack behind the Herikimer Hotel building, on Goodrich Ave SE at the entrance to the lot. There is public transportation available in the area, to and from downtown locations, please visit RIDE THE RAPID for more information on routes and schedule.  

Provided:

The Yoga Center is spacious and fully equipped. All props needed for class are provided free of charge.  Yoga props for home practice may also be purchased at the Yoga Center. There are changing areas, drinking water, and bathroom (and shower) available on site. It is fully handicapped/wheelchair accessible.

Dining: There are many many restaurants in downtown Grand Rapids, including the Downtown Market, www.downtownmarketgr.com, only three blocks walk from the Iyengar Yoga Center.
